वन्दे मातरम का इतिहास

• वंदे मातरम् का अंग्रेजी अनुवाद सबसे पहले अरविंद घोष ने किया।
• दिसम्बर १९०५ में कांग्रेस कार्यकारिणी की बैठक में गीत को राष्ट्रगीत का दर्जा प्रदान किया गया, बंग भंग आंदोलन में ‘वंदे मातरम्’ राष्ट्रीय नारा बना।
• १९०६ में ‘वंदे मातरम’ देव नागरी लिपि में प्रस्तुत किया गया, कांग्रेस के कलकत्ता अधिवेशन में गुरुदेव रविन्द्र नाथ टैगोर ने इसका संशोधित रूप प्रस्तुत किया।
• १९२३ कांग्रेस अधिवेशन में वंदे मातरम् के विरोध में स्वर उठे।
• पं॰ नेहरू, मौलाना अब्दुल कलाम अजाद, सुभाष चंद्र बोस और आचार्य नरेन्द्र देव की समिति ने २८ अक्टूबर १९३७ को कांग्रेस के कलकत्ता अधिवेशन में पेश अपनी रिपोर्ट में इस राष्ट्रगीत के गायन को अनिवार्य बाध्यता से मुक्त रखते हुए कहा था कि इस गीत के शुरुआती दो पैरे ही प्रासंगिक है, इस समिति का मार्गदर्शन रवीन्द्र नाथ टैगोर ने किया।
• १४ अगस्त १९४७ की रात्रि में संविधान सभा की पहली बैठक का प्रारंभ ‘वंदे मातरम’ के साथ और समापन ‘जन गण मन..’ के साथ..।
• १९५० ‘वंदे मातरम’ राष्ट्रीय गीत और ‘जन गण मन’ राष्ट्रीय गान बना।
• २००२ बी.बी.सी. के एक सर्वेक्षण के अनुसार ‘वंदे मातरम्’ विश्व का दूसरा सर्वाधिक लोकप्रिय गीत।

आनन्द मठ बांग्ला भाषा का एक उपन्यास है जिसकी रचना बंकिम चन्द्र चट्टोपाध्याय ने १८८२ में की थी। इस कृति का भारतीय स्वतन्त्रता संग्राम और स्वतन्त्रता के क्रान्तिकारियों पर बहुत गहरा प्रभाव पड़ा। भारत का राष्ट्रीय गीत वन्दे मातरम् इसी उपन्यास से लिया गया है।

आनंदमठ राजनीतिक उपन्यास है। इस उपन्यास में उत्तर बंगाल में 1773 के सन्यासी विद्रोहका वर्णन किया गया है। इस पुस्तक में देशभक्ति की भावना है।

40 घंटे चला था युद्ध

आज ही के दिन आजाद हुआ था गोवा

नई दिल्ली। देश की आजादी के बाद अगर बड़ी सैन्य कार्रवाई के रूप में देशवासियों को ‘गोवा विलय’ के बारे में शायद ही कुछ मालूम हो। 19 दिसंबर देश के इतिहास में उस तारीख के रूप में दर्ज है जब भारतीय सेना ने गोवा,

जब भारतीय सेना ने गोवा, दमन और दीव में प्रवेश करके इन इलाकों को साढ़े चार सौ साल के पुर्तगाली आधिपत्य से आजाद कराया था।

18 दिसंबर 1961 के दिन ऑपरेशन विजय की कार्रवाई की गई। भारतीय सैनिकों की टुकड़ी ने गोवा के बॉर्डर में प्रवेश किया। 36 घंटे से भी ज्यादा वक्त तक जमीनी, समुद्री और हवाई हमले हुए। इसके बाद पुर्तगाली सेना ने बिना किसी शर्त के भारतीय सेना के समक्ष 19 दिसंबर को आत्मसमर्पण किया।

दो पुर्तगाली यातायात विमान (सुपर कॉस्टिलेशन व डीसी-6) को अकेला छोड़ दिया गया ताकि उन पर कब्जा किया जा सके लेकिन पुर्तगाली पायलट उन्हे क्षतिग्रस्त हवाई पट्टी से उड़ा ले जाने में सफल हुए जिसके जरिये वे पुर्तगाल भाग निकले। गोवा के सैनिकों ने सरेंडर से पहले अपने कई साजो सामान को भी नष्ट कर दिया जिससे वह भारत के हाथ नहीं लग सके।

गोवा बना राज्यः 30 मई 1987 को गोवा को राज्‍य का दर्जा दे दिया गया जबकि दमन और दीव केंद्रशासित प्रदेश बने रहे। 'गोवा मुक्ति दिवस' प्रति वर्ष '19 दिसम्बर' को मनाया जाता है।
